SELECTION PROCEDURE:
This is an OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill a vacancy.
The eligibility list will be used to fill permanent vacancies which may occur during the life of the eligibility list.
This position is full-time, 12 months per year.
The recruitment process will consist of an evaluation of the submitted supplemental application, an oral technical interview and/or performance examination, which are tentatively scheduled during the weeks of March 20-31, 2023.

(Click here for more information on the recruitment process) EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Under the direction of the Director-Communications or assigned supervisor, coordinate and oversee the implementation of strategic communications, public information and marketing activities to promote awareness of TUSD programs and services; assist with the development of strategic communications; serve as an active liaison with various stakeholders; and provide technical support to the Director-Communications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination equivalent to:
Bachelor's Degree in public relations, journalism, communications or related field and three years of responsible community relations, public information, or media relations experience.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Valid California driver's license.
Employees in this classification must maintain insurability at the District's standard rate during the term of employment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
