Direct Hire opportunity for a Systems Safety Engineer located in Long Beach, CA.
As a Systems Safety Engineer you will:
  • Support Development of Safety Processes in accordance with SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A
  • Develop Safety Assessments such as Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs) and System Safety Assessments (SSAs) as defined in SAE ARP4761.
  • Assign Function Development Assurance Level (FDAL) and Item Development Assurance Level (IDAL) to systems based on Safety Assessments.
  • Derive and manage Safety Requirements.
  • Develop Fault Trees Analysis using CAFTA software.
  • Develop Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Common Cause Analysis (CCA)
  • Coordinate with System/Subsystem SMEs to generate System Level Safety Assessment development.
  • Coordinate and communicate with FAA and EASA.

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 5-10 years experience in Systems Safety Engineering in the Aerospace Industry Experience with software tools such as CAFTA, Siemens TeamCenter, SiemensNX, CAMEO, MATLAB Simulink, MATLAB System Composer, and MS Office Products preferred
  • SAE ARP 4754A and ARP4761 Industry Standards
  • FAA Part 21 Regulations
  • FAA Part 25/EASA CS-25 Aircraft Regulations
  • RTCA DO-160G, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-331

Salary Range:
100,000 - $140,000 per year

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
